Copper and Glass Decorations

COURSE OUTLINE:
Two Christmas workshops in one day! In the morning you will be making a holly leaf decoration from copper sheet using techniques including cutting, shaping, folding, texturing and finishing.

In the afternoon you will be making a star decoration from coloured glass, using the traditional copper foiling technique which involves cutting glass shapes, wrapping them in copper foil and then soldering them together.
Both tutors will be on hand all day to help out.
The course will include short demonstrations by the tutors when required, with the majority of the course taking the form of practical progress on your own personal projects, with individual guidance from the tutors as required
